Manifesting!
Our last two messages before Resurrection Day were;
Encountering Reality and then Manifesting true reality
In 2014 I was gripped by the verse, “On earth as it is in heaven” and to this day it is a major theme with me and threaded in our messages.
Christ is the head, and we are His body.
Now look again at Gen.1:26 with this truth in mind.
The original blueprint was God and man working together
God from the Spirit realm (heaven)
Man in the physical realm (Earth) with no separation.
Communication was the key, relationship, intimacy in the garden.
This is the principle of prayer.
Prayer is a result of God's established authority structure between heaven and earth.
Prayer is as simple as responding and respecting God's authority.
Prayer was born out of God's arrangements for man's assignment on earth, thus the words “let them.”
My, those words. God would create a partnership manifesting heaven on earth, all the before the foundation of the world would be played out.
Then the fall – separation occurred, and man became lost, God’s purposes were exchanged for man’s plans.
The first principle establishes the truth that the creator's commitment to his original intent for creation is a priority for him and motivates and regulates all his actions.
Everything he does is driven by His purpose, desire, which never changes. Proverbs 19:21-22, Isaiah 46:10-11, Is. 55:11-12. Eph. 1:11, Hebrews 6:17
These scriptures reveal God's eternal commitment to His purpose and plans.
And it's important to know that his commitment to fulfill his purpose will never be at the expense of violating His spoken or written word. Ps. 119:89-90, Ps. 138:2-3 - The fact that he places his word above his name in all things is important because one of the Hebrew concepts for name is “the being.” submitting himself to the dictates of his own word.
Whatever God speaks He himself is willfully obligated to obey his own word, therefore, any law of God is a low to God.
He is faithful to His word at all costs. This being understood, we can appreciate the implications and impact of these initial words spoken by God at creation, “let them have dominion over the earth.”
In 2014 I was gripped by the verse, “On earth as it is in heaven” and to this day it is a major theme with me and threaded in our messages.
The legal authority to dominate earth was given to mankind only.
the heavens belong to the lord but the earth he has given to man – Ps. 115:16
God is Spirit. Therefore, the heavens are His. Man is physical therefore the earth is his.
But a union of the two, becoming one, restores God's original plan to sync heaven and earth as one. Christ the head, we the body.
The legal authority on earth is in the hands of mankind.
And the blueprint of earth is in the mind of God, and we have the mind of Christ
Nothing will happen on Earth without the active or passive permission of man who is the illegal authority.
God planned it out that the heavily beings or Himself cannot interfere in the Earth realm without the cooperation or permission of man who is the body of Christ.
If you don’t, He can’t.
God must obtain the agreement and cooperation of a person for whatever he desires to do in the earth. (Jesus is the perfect example of this)
Everything we see God do in the Old Testament He does through His chosen vessels who agree with Him and cooperate with Him, look at Jonah as an example who kicked back.
These scriptures are critical for understanding the nature, power, and purpose of prayer. It is from these that we get our definition of prayer.
It is from these that we get our definition of prayer.
What is Prayer?
Prayer is man giving God the legal right and permission to interfere in earth's affairs.
Many may have a problem with this, and I completely understand. However, think of this by way of an example of a man and woman before marriage and after marriage. I total change in two individual wills now one in a common purpose. (Jesus and the Father)
Prayer is hearing and agreeing with God, what he is doing in heaven that he will manifest on earth through us.
Prayer is man giving heaven earthly license to influence earth
Would you say most of the earth is being ran by man without the influence of God?
2 Chronicles 7:14, Luke 18:1-2, Eph. 6:17-18, I Thes. 5:16-19, Matt.16:19-20, Matt. 18:18-20 - these scriptures give man the authority to determine what happens on earth. God does nothing but an answer to prayer. John Wesley.
Prayer is therefore not an option for mankind but a necessity, if we don't pray heaven cannot interfere in earth's affairs.
It is imperative that we take responsibility for the earth as it has been given to us. To determine what happens here by the life of prayer. Matt. 6:9-11
Next week, we will look at how Jesus gave us the key to make this a success.
