The Covenant of God – I AM

(John 14:20 - 1 John 4:17 – I Cor 6:17)

  • Our identity is tied to our inheritance which both together manifests in dominion. (Gen 1:26)

Ephesians – This letter’s theme is the riches of Christ Jesus.

  • Many theologians say this book can be read together with the book of Joshua.

  • We are the covenant; Duet. 28 the blessings without the curses.

  • We are His inheritance (Psalms 2:7-12)

  • Eph. 1:3 - a eulogy of the blessing

  • Eph. 1:4 – chosen in Christ

  • Eph. 1:5 – Adopted as Sons and daughters (Identity) in Christ

  • Eph. 7-8 – Redemption, forgiveness, all grace. (Favor unmerited)

  • Eph. 1:10 – uniting all things in Christ in heaven and earth.

  • Eph. 1:11 - received an inheritance

  • Eph. 1:11 – everything is being worked out according to His will.

  • Eph. 1:13-14 – the Holy Spirit is the guarantee of our inheritance.

  • This is how rich we are, there is nothing left, we are not in want, no lack, complete in Him as Him.

Now Paul has just dropped a truckload of truth in our laps, our minds cannot then and now comprehend all that this entails. He knows this, He himself is still grasping the depth of these truths.

  • Paul prays our most important prayer 1:15-23 – Our revelation of all the riches.

  • Our identity, our inheritance and dominion in Christ

The result is that we become what creation is waiting for, the manifestation of the sons of God. (Romans 8:19) We are not living for God, we are living God (I Am) who He says I am, One with the Godhead, in Christ as Christ heaven on earth
