Texas A&M University-Commerce is seeking to contract for the installation of 440 network cable drops connecting offices, classrooms, wireless access points, cameras in the Business Administration building located on the main campus in Commerce, Texas. The scope of this SOW includes the procurement of necessary materials, installation of cable support infrastructure such as floor racks, cable managers and cable trays, removal of existing cabling, and the installation and testing of new cables.  For the purposes of this bid, assume that the average length of cable per drop will be 180’. Also 1 fiber-optic drop with a length of ~200’. This bid should include the materials needed to furnish and dress out 1 new network IDF including a 7’ rack, patch panels, fiber distro box, cable management and other consumables necessary to terminate the cabling.  This bid should also include the procurement and installation of J hooks and D hoops for overhead cable management. As well as proper shared grounding of IDF and MDF equipment.

Work times will follow the University's workday (8am-5pm, M-F). But the option to

work 7a-7pm (Monday-Friday) is available, also.
